DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined. The rim is rolled and everted. Handles are modeled on the shoulders. It is broken into three fragments. Two large body and rim fragments and a small rim fragment. It is broken and mended. The base is missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Menkaura) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
