Cylindrical pewter mounts. Manganese body and scroll handle; shaped panels of blue with black line on white band enclose flame designs at top and bottom, upper ones have pendent bell flowers. In polychrome crowned cartouche at front of scrolls and flowers, blue deer leaps from green tree. Spun base with molded footband, strap on handle for hinge of flat cover, with turned ball thumbpiece, engraved A.M.RI-T/1768 (Rudolph scratched on bottom). Marks inside cover: two birds on heart with twigs, E at right; deer walking in half-barred oval.
