Cylindrical, slightly everted rim, on splayed molded base. Low domed cover. Sides, bottom & cover inset with coins dating from 1650 to 1737; incised scroll design as background. Small medallions with heads on molding of base & cover. Double scroll handle, pine cone (?) purchase. Marks on bottom: DFH in rectangle, Q in shaped punch, and another.
