DescriptionGround: entirely cut away. Design: tapestry band on linen warps. Simple Kufic inscription (.015 high) in natural linen on yellowish-red silk ground. Above and below is simple Kufic inscription (.007 high) in red silk on yellow silk ground. Worn: frayed at edges. Inscriptions (a) .015 high: "The kingdom" (repeated). (b) .007 high: "Victory from God (?)" (repeated). See note.
