DescriptionGround: dark neutral linen cloth, mostly cut away. Design: silk tapestry band. Formal Kufic inscription (.025 high) of red, on bluish-green ground. at top and bottom, a series of plain narrow stripes of blue-green and red silk and neutral linen. Very stained. Inscription: undeciphered. See note.
