DescriptionGround: twill tapestry of pinkish-red wool, torn and ragged. Warp: cream wool. Design: large rondels, one above the other; each with a conventionalized tree enclosed by a narrow border with zig-zag design: Woven with blue, blue-green, and cream. Across top is a narrow floral border on a dark blue ground, and a band of formal Kufic (.055 high) woven in cream wool. Inscription: undeciphered. See note.
