Ground: entirely perished. Cream linen cloth sewed to each side of piece. Warps cream linen. Design: red and yellow silk tapestry. Series of broad bands (.06 to .11) with guilloche enclosing rabbit or affronted birds on red oval. Bands are separated by lines of debased Naskh writing (.02 high) in red on yellow. Very fragmentary: full of holes; stained. Inscription: “Good fortune and prosperity” (repeated.) See note.
