DescriptionGround: glazed cream linen cloth; stained; small holes. Design: tapestry band. Imitation Kufic inscription of red silk; tails of letters form narrow border (.008 wide) on blue silk ground. Shafts of tall letters (.013 high) divide band into compartments, each containing a scroll pattern of yellow and black silk. Above and below scroll is a narrow border of irregular red silk dots on black silk and cream linen ground. At top and bottom is narrow scroll border of yellow and black silk. See note for 32.117.
