DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of deep violet wool; on this are four outlined candelabra tree motifs on each side of a narrow band. The borders enclose scrolled linear branches with candelabra floral motifs; the tree and plant motifs in the band and those in the borders are of natural-colored linen; the ground of the middle band is of natural-colored linen with designs of connected floral motifs and discs in deep violet wool; probably a sleeve band, similar to 01.5837.
