DescriptionGround: cream linen gauze, in cloth weave. Torn, stained, and full of holes. Plain selvedge at right. Design: silk tapestry band. Stylized Kufic inscription (.02 high) with triangular tops to the tall letters; in light green, cream and yellow on darker cream ground. Inscription: "Praise be to god, and the Kingdom to god..." (repeated in reverse).
