DescriptionOn a white ground is a cross with four birds, one in each of its angles. Lozenge and square patterns of jewels decorate the arms of the cross; the lozenges contain small crosses. A pair of floral motifs stem from the corners of each arm. The deisgn is woven with red, two shades of blue, green, yellow and white wool. The design shows Byzantine influence.
