DescriptionGround: coarse cream linen gauze (in cloth weave); very much worn. Design: silk tapestry band; guilloche of light blue and green framing small black and cream confronted birds on a bright yellow ground; above and below (addorsed) is inscription in simple Kufic (.013 high) dark blue on cream ground. Inscription: "God gives success" (repeated). See note.
