DescriptionGreen woolen warp; ground of green wool; a design of a band woven with Indian red, bright red, green, light and dark blue and yellow wool with white linen; design shows fish (?), plants and a human figure with a raised hand; framed by a festooned motif; the medallion at the end of the band shows a fish (?) motif; a broad and a narrow stripe of white linen are on one side of the band; probably a fragment of a tunic with a shoulder band (clavus), or a fragment of a covering that included similar bands.
