Deep violet wool ground with rows of human heads; faces woven of natural colored linen and hair of yellow wool; caps in red wool laternating with green; the boder with red ground on one side shows green squares alternating with deep violet eight-pointed stars, each enclosing a yellow star. Sewed onto heavy linen; the turban-like shape of the caps and the heads suggest Sasanian influence.
