Warp of linen; ground of deep violet wool with design of red and green wool and natural colored linen. Design consists of two bands, each showing a row of rectangular units that contain oval-shaped motifs, of which one encloses a figure, probably a putto and the others contain fruits and floral motifs. There is also a bird in the left side band. Design shows Roman influence. From Akhmîn.
