DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of natural colored linen; design of dark blue wool showing two equestrian figures (hunters or warriors) in the center, a centaur in the upper half of the roundel and an animal (lion ?) in the lower half. The figures are surrounded by branches and leaves. Design shows Roman influence. From Akhmîm.
