Warp of linen; ground of natural-colored linen; the design, of dark brown wool and natural-colored linen, shows a roundel in the center enclosing a warrior or a hunter holding a shield; the roundel is framed by a rectangle with a leaf in each corner; surrounding the central motifs are twelve squares of which six enclose diagonal lines forming lozenges;and each of the other six, framed by a wave-crest border, encloses a disc in the center. Design shows Roman influence.
