Underglaze blue caduceus mark on both cup and saucer
Incised Johanneum mark: "N = 354 / W" on both cup and saucer
Sold by a "Miss Beale" [see note] to George Washington Wales (b. 1895 - d. 1896) and Maria Dow Wales (b. 1816 - d. 1912), Boston; 1895, gift of Mr. and Mrs. George Washington Wales to the MFA. (Accession Date: March 28, 1895)
