This teapot is decorated with a hand-painted, rust-colored American eagle surrounded by gold stars on each side of the body. the cylindrical, shouldered body has a gold rim with sawgs extending onto the shoulders. The lid has the same decoration arround its edge. The handle is a crossed strap type, molded, with filiate patterns where it joins the body.
