DescriptionIn C. The lowest tone is c. Made from two slabs of wood, the currved conoidal bore carved in halves which have been fastened together and covered by black leather. The tube is bent twice in the form of the letter S. Ivory tip at the small end. Six finger-holes in the front, and seventh hole stopped by a square brass key with a double touch-piece; a thumb-hole in the rear. The mouthpiece is lost.
