DescriptionNatural tabby-woven cotton ground, printed with woodblocks in two shades fo brown and neutral red. Two vignettes, arranged in alternating bands. One shows three hunters and a woman gathered round a prostrate dog; other shows two boys and girl fishing. In inter-spaces, a lozenge network of flowering branches with birds and butterflies. Both selvedges present; pale blue thread in each. Cotton stained, browned and in places rotted; many holes and frayed edges.
