DescriptionCrimson satin ground; pattern in mustard yellow, yellow-green and white floss silks, bound in weft twill. Symmetrical design shows fantastic blossoms and leaves rising from fountains decorated with griffins and herms; pairs of leopards are chained to the fountains. Carnations, tulips and acanthus leaves predominate. Pattern threads worn off in many places.
