DescriptionFragment of tunic found near Medinet el Fayoum, Egypt. Ground: light bluish green silk warp. Design: of birds, animals and griffons, and delicate conventionalized vines growing from vertical stems, woven with light green silk (weft). The edges are irregular and burnt in places. Two pieces put together. Part of 30.652, see notes filed.
