Textile sample with design of “The Legend of Urushima Taro” depicting Taro, a fisherman, riding on the back of a tortoise on his way to a magical undersea kingdom, with the island of Urushima in the distance, in light and dark gray, blue, green, purple, brown and white, created by the yûzen process, and embroidered with gilt paper strips.
