Textile sample with design of Bugaku costume helmet and scattered maple leaves in blue, orange, pink, purple, black, green silk embroidery accented with gold metallic thread couching on a bright green satin ground. There is an appliquéd piece of orange and white stencil resist-dyed silk outlined in gold metallic thread couching which represents a diagram for a traditional incense-guessing game called “Genji-kô.”
