DescriptionThis plate, at the insistence of Mr. Burty was given to illustrate a rubbishing [sic] book entitled "Sonnets et Eauxfortes" [sic] on the understanding that 25 impressions from the plate should be given to Mr. Haden before it was destroyed. It has therefore become a very rare plate. Moreover the printing of the impression in this book is bad. So that a good impression is still rare.
