Description([Boston: L. Prang & Co., 1866-67]) 45.2 cm; 41 ff., most printed on one side, some carrying single-color proofs of other subjects on their versos; contemporary half red-brown cloth, thick cardboard (cream-colored phase box).

Album of proofs and color separations for the Prang chromolithograph "The Kid's Playground," lithographed by Harring after Bruith, published in 1867 by Prang. It is one of his earliest "full" chromos, composed of some 23 separate stones (by the numbered separations in the album). The first 19 of the separations are accompanied by a progressive proof of the image including the previously executed colors. Several early ones are signed in color pencil by Harring, and all carry measurements, color notations, etc.
