REMBRANDT HARMENSZ VAN RYN, born 15th July 1606 at Leyden, burried on 8th October 1669 at Amsterdam. Pupil of Jacop von Swanenburgh at Leyden and later of Pieter Lastmann at Amsterdam. He was exercising his art first at Leyden and from 1631 at Amsterdam.
