Theatrical doublet and sleeves in Elizabethan or Cavalier style. Doublet: green/bronze silk cut and uncut voided velvet with satin ground, large-scale floral motif; short stand-up collar; silk corded burron front closure; pickdils and wings; olive green satin ribbon bows with decorative steel points painted gold. Sleeves: stitched into doublet wings; blue, salmon, green silk brocaded on white silk; button wrist closure. Unbleached linen body lining; brown silk rep pickadil linings (added at later date). Hand-made.
