Ground: ikat cotton cloth. Tied and dyed warp threads (of blue, brown and cream) cover brown binding-wefts in cloth weave. Twisted warp fringe (l. wide) at bottom. Design: elaborate interlaced Kufic inscription (.02 high) painted in gold with black outline. Small formal Kufic inscription (.015 high) in lower center. In excellent condition. Inscription: undeciphered.
