DescriptionThe design shows Byzanthine influence; on each end of a linen cloth, woven with groups of heavy thread are bands of tapestry flanked by disconnected oblong spots. The ground of the design is pinkish red; the design of diamonds connected by indefinite forms is woven with light and dark blue, green and yellow wool and natural-colored linen thread. Much worn, and stained.
