DescriptionThis is a large block with a portion of a boating scene. There are two boats. At the center bottom are torsos of three men facing left. Above them and to the right is a boat with three standing male figures. To the left is another boat with multiple oars. The surface decoration is much faded and eroded. There are traces of red paint.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G 2184. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
