DescriptionSheer, plain woven linen ground embroidered at each end with polychrome silks and gilt silver strips and yarns in double darning and satin stitches. Design of landscape with peak-roofed building, stream, boats, birds, rocks, and cypress trees. Narrow crocheted edging in gilt silver yarns at ends around embroidered sections. Linen yellowed, faint stains. Gilt silver worn and tarnished.
