The cup is formed from thin sheet, raised and chased around the lower half with spiraling fluting. A plain wire foot and two molded wire ear-shaped handles are applied.

Engraved next near rim, "R*P" ; scratched on underside "No 276".

Near rim, maker's mark RO (Grimwade 2388); Britannia; lion's head erased; date letter c
