Fibula in trumpet form with knobbed head; serpentine profile. Catch-plate is at narrow end which is divided from flaring pin end by a rounded ridge. Small sphere with a little knob finishes the narrow end. Pin emerges from a broad wire coil which is attached to the wide end by a flange.
