雄略天皇二十三年/帝大安殿に在ますとき/俄に風雨雷電はげしく発しければ/随身小兵部栖軽に詔して/「汝急ぎ雷神を捕り来るべし」と勅命を蒙る/直に馬を馳て阿部山の方に追行/轟きわたる虚空を白眼て/「吾朝の空なり 勅命を知らずや」と大音に罵りしかども/雷鳴止らず/栖軽/壺坂寺の方にむかひて/「観音薩た 王土をあに擁護あらざるや」と言ひつつ/かの普門品の妙文「雲雷鼓掣電 降雹じゅ大雨 念彼観音力 應時得消散」と時念しければ/御寺の方より異光はためくと見えけるより/さながら烈しき雷/豊浦と飯岡の間に落ちたるを/生捕て/王宮へ献じければ/殿上人賞せぬ者なく/是より神取栖軽と号けり
