DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain, oval quadrilobed forms, tureen: two gilt shell handles; cover: spoon cup-out, gilt knop of flower bud and two leaves; underglaze gros bleu borders ornamented in tooled gilt scrolls, shells and oeil de perdrix with flower sprays at each indentation; white ground with puce floral swags, polychrome flower bouquets and gold polka dots. Center of stand has polychrome floral spray. Marks: (a + c) open crescent in underglaze blue.
