Fragment of cashmere twill tapestry shawl with dark red ground and design of tall, curvilinear plant forms woven with light and dark blue, light green, pink, pale yellow and white; across the end of each piece are two narrow floral borders; the upper border is cut by the stems and leaves of the tall plants of the main field; some areas of blue are touched up by paint.
