DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of dark blue wool; the design in each fragment shows a medallion which encloses two horsemen back to back; with four legged animals (dogs ?) below them; woven with red and blue wool. The border of the medallion in 96.315a encloses a scroll motifs with branches and leaves. Design shows Eastern influence.
