Silhouetted at right and made up with seventeenth century paper bearing fragmentary [17th century?] inscriptions in pen and brown ink: Voum… / …teandia / …otavet. The brown pen and ink borderline is consistent on both the original sheet and the made up sheet. The overall effect suggests that the silhouetting and replacement are contemporary with the drawing.
