Heavy black lace over black taffeta; bottom of bodice and skirt each trimmed with narrow band of black velvet. Lace pattern shows large-scale leaves; applied to this are rosettes and rose leaves make of black taffeta. Bodice straight in front, rounded point in back; high round neck trimmed with black velvet; short sleeves trimmed with pleated balck chiffon; straight closure up front with snap fasteners. Plain skirt with train; closure in back concealed by overlapping lace leaves; black taffeta petticoat with three bands of black taffeta ruching around bottom. Condition fair.
