DescriptionCafé-au-lait silk taffeta, trimmed with bright greenish blue taffeta pipings and facings. Bodice (a) cut like open jacket, with flaring skirt all round; V neck; three quarter sleeves; self buttons, with blue stars, down front. Skirt (b) shows seven vertical panels, alternately flat and puffed, on flat front. Back of skirt is doubled, gathered and draped, trimmed with gathered bands; short train. Stains underarms and on front of skirt; hem soiled and worn.
