DescriptionTwo plates, printed and painted with Japanese actors, copied from color woodblock prints by Osaka printmaker Utagawa Kunikazu (active 1848-68). Borders decorated with Japanese maple leaves joined by slashing diagonal blue lines, orange rims. Impressed marks.
