Pieced valance. Narrow lengthwise bands bearing alternately, a repeating four petal motif and a continuous simple undulating leafy vine. Polychrome silk satin weave warp yarns; white cotton weft yarns covered by supplementary polychrome silk and metallic yarn patterning wefts. Predominated colors: purple, green blue,and orange. Unpatterned strip of gray silk attached to bottom edge. Repeating floral design in silk cord and sequins attached to remaining three edges. Worn; poorly joined at some seams. Lined.
