Vase “du Barry a guirlandes,” one of a pair. Of baluster form with spirally fluted neck and gadrooned rim; the cylindrical center section decorated in relief with gilded swags of flowers depending from masks and ribbon knots. Stands on ormolu square base.

Markings

Interlaced Ls with a crown above, enclosing date letter Y; the mark A for the gilder Charles-Eloi Asselin.
