The hollow foot and the body are blown as one, ending in a short neck with a small horizontal lip. The base is clear glass with yellow streaks, overlaid from midway upward with orange shading to brown/amethyst at the top. A second work step etched a design of leaves into the polished overlay. The lower body and foot are acid-etched.
Engraved Schneider France on the foot and also signed with a short tri-color glass rod fused into the glass, an early Le Verre Français (LVF) signature.
