DescriptionWhite silk ground woven with strips of silver; the design, a very conventional flower form, in an ogival frame-work is of red cut and uncut velvet. This piece is of the same type as 85.299, 85.350, 93.327a and b, 93.486. A similar piece is called by Mme. Errera, Spanish work(?) of the 16th cent., by Fischbach, Venetian of the 16th cent., by Cole, Italian, middle of the 16th cent., by Cox, Genoese, 15th cent.
