This vessel fragment bears part of a vertical hieroglyphic inscription filled wih black color, now partly gone. It may contain a reference to the goddess Hathor.

Provenance

From Semna ramparts, east of South Gate. 1924: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
