Description(a) Bodice, (b) skirt front, (c) mantle of pale blue satin ground with all-over design of detached floral motives, especially tulips and daffodils, and borders and central panels of connected floral motives; entire design worked with several kinds of silver thread in variety of couching and flat stitches, each worked through linen backing; bodice (a) with peplum, laced up back, stomacher-shape embroidery on front, open under arms; skirt (b) flat piece, slightly pointed in center front of waist, flaring towards bottom at sides; mantle (c) deep fron neck to bottom; all pieces lined with thin, blue, silk cloth.
