DescriptionCircular medal commemorating the victory at Liege. Stamped on edge "LIGGOIR LIEGE".
Obverse: Winged female warrior attacking six soldiers below with empty battlefield in background; inscribed at edge "LIEGE RESISTE AUX BARBARES 1914" and below "Georges Petit".
Reverse: Vieled woman kisses crowned man, both in classical costume, with wreath above and a cross behind them and an acorn mounted column at proper right; inscribed at edge "LA FRANCE HONORE LIEGE 1919".
